TATTOOS + BODY ART
Tattooing has become a natural extension of my drawing practice... another medium, another surface, and another way to explore line, symbolism, storytelling, and the connection between art and the body.
With a background in fine art, ceramics, painting, and illustration, my approach to tattooing is rooted in many of the same ideas that guide my studio work: thoughtful composition, meaningful details, and the occasional strange little surreal moment.
My tattoo work leans toward fine-line, illustrative, and semi-realistic designs, often inspired by nature, folklore, gothic ornament, and, whenever I can sneak them in, eyes. Whether I’m working on paper, clay, canvas, or skin, I’m drawn to creating pieces that feel beautiful, intentional, and deeply connected to the person they belong to.
